Richard "Dick" E. Green, Jr., 73, of Smithfield, Virginia
passed away September 9, 2006. He was a retired businessman and a native of Danville, VA. Dick was the son of the late Bessie and Richard E. Green, Sr.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie H. Green of Smithfield, VA; son, Richard E. Green, III and wife Lisa of Nebraska; granddaughter, Rowan M. Green; grandson, Julian N. Green; sisters, Louise G. Baker of Danville, VA, Gloria G. Harvey of Abingdon, VA.
A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, September 12, 2006, at 3:00 p.m. at the residence, 104 Commerce St., Smithfield, VA 23430 with Rev. Donald Watkins officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Riverside Dialysis Center at 1812 S. Church St., Smithfield, VA 23430 or the National Kidney Foundation of the Virginias at P.O. Box 15896, Chesapeake, VA 23328.
