Obituary

Richard Howard Breeding, 68, a resident of the Tucker House in Norfolk, VA passed away September 14, 2009. He was born in Norfolk and raised as a Methodist by his parents the late Henry Loyd Johnson, Sr. and Abbie Frances Johnson. He was the oldest of 34 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sister, Robin Rae Ferris.

Richard worked as a bellman for Golden Triangle Hotel in Norfolk for 30 plus years where he met many celebrities. He later went on to retire after 8 years as a cab driver with the Yellow Cab in Norfolk.

Richard will be dearly missed by his sister and the many family and friends whose lives he touched.

Richard is survived by his sister, Connie J. Williams and husband Carter of Smithfield, Va.; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 19, 2009 at 6 p.m. at Benn's United Methodist Church with Rev. O. H. Burton officiating. Burial will be private. Friends may join the family following the service in the Family Life Center for further time of fellowship. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association at P. O.
