Richard Vance Beckett, 81, passed away June 14, 2022.  He was born in Amelia, OH the son of the late Vance Leo Beckett and June Bowman Beckett.  He was predeceased by his siblings, Jackie, George, Billy, Charlie, David, and Kenny.  Richard was a United States Air Force veteran.  He later went on to work as a general manager in rendering.  He was a member and actively involved at Alive Church Western Branch Campus.

Richard is survived by his children, Kathleen Suzanne Beckett, Richard C. Beckett (Sandy), Robert M. Beckett (Monica), and Timothy R. Beckett (Cherie); 10 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren; sisters, Janet, Nancy, and Leona; brothers, Teddy and Henry; and numerous niece and nephews.

A graveside service with military honors will be held Friday, July 8, 2022 at 10 a.m. at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery with Rev. Romy Feliciano officiating.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
