Suffolk – Rex Bernard Rogers, 63, departed this life on March 14, 2016. Born on September 6, 1952 in Laurinburg, NC to Mr. and Mrs. Burlin Rogers. He is survived by his wife Kathy Rogers of 41 years, his children Matthew and Wesley Rogers, his 3 grandchildren Allie, Brock and Grayson Rogers and his 4 siblings Burlin Rogers Jr., Joan Grey, Robert Rogers, Regina Cuffee, half-sister Patsy Barker and a Uncle to nieces and nephews.

Rex Rogers loved the game of baseball from playing, coaching, umpiring or just watching the games. The love for baseball is the eternal connection with his sons Matthew and Wesley. Rex also enjoyed the toil of his luscious garden and tinkering in his shop. More than anything he loved being Granddaddy to his three grandchildren.
