Rebie Saunders Holland, 93, died May 6, 2006. She was born May 21, 1912, in Nansemond County, Virginia, and was the widow of Robert H. Hicks and Linwood Holland. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Robert Lee Saunders and Maggie Hedgebeth Saunders and was also predeceased by her son, Stanley L. Holland and grandson, Steven Holland.

Survivors include her daughters, Sandra H. Missett of Oceanside, CA, Faye H. Vick of Leeds, AL, Jeanette H. Joynes of Melbourne, FL and Joyce H. Crain of Virginia Beach; grandchildren, Tom Joynes, Donna Daniels, Mike Missett, Joan Gambill, Kathy Goldman, Bobby Vick, Henry Vick, Patricia Kidd, Cheryl Stalmaker, Janet Karasek, Starla Richardson, Stanley Holland, Jr., Kim Keith, Lisa Justice and Christine Hyatt; 20 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary S. Drew of Suffolk; brothers, Harvey Saunders of Suffolk and Robert Lee Saunders of Newport News.

A funeral will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Parr Funeral Home by the Rev. Jim George. Friends may join the family at the funeral home from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday before the service for a time of fellowship. Interment will be private.
