Rebecca "Becky" Ann Starling Chappell, 70, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at her residence. She was born on December 22, 1952 to the late Earl Keith Starling and Mabel Alene Gifford Oliver. She was a housekeeper for Hilton Garden Inn for many years.

In addition to her parent's, Becky is predeceased by her husband, Curtis Taylor Chappell. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Lisa C. Mathias (Andy), Keith D. Baines (Susan), and Christopher D. Baines (Stefanie), grandchildren, Parker, Morgan, Mason, Hudson, and Bayleigh. Siblings, Katherine Parker, Janet Elaine Harrell (Chester) and Joe Earl Starling (Alisa).

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, April 21, 2023 at 4 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home in Suffolk with Pastor Matthew Johnson officiating. The family will receive family and friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Holland Baptist Church or the Suffolk Humane Society in honor of Becky.
