Raymond Browne Faubion, 78, of Suffolk, VA passed away April 17, 2011. He was born in Clayton, Missouri the son of the late Harriet Rhinehart Faubion and Joseph Wesley Faubion. He was a United States Marine veteran having served during the Korean War. Raymond retired as a claims representative for the Social Security Administration. He was a member of Magnolia United Methodist Church and a former Mason.

Raymond is survived by his wife of 58 years, Rheta Arline Faubion of Suffolk, VA; daughter, Cindy Acton of Virginia Beach, VA; son and daughter-in-law, Craig S. and Katherine E. Faubion of Chesapeake, VA; grandchildren, Steven Faubion, Gregory Acton, and Sarah Faubion; sister, Helen Doran of Alabama; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside memorial service with military honors will be held Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veteran Cemetery with Rev. Doris Madison officiating.
