Raymond Quinton Darden, 84, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on July 9, 2018.  He was born in Nansemond County, VA the son of the late Rufus and Dorothy Piland Darden.  He was predeceased by his wife, Daphne Baugham Darden and 5 brothers.  Raymond retired as a supervisor from Franklin Concrete Products.  He was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church.

Raymond is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis D. and Bill Felts; sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis R. and Lou Ann Darden, Raymond B. Darden and fiancé, Pam Morris; grandchildren and their spouses, Daniel and Brittany Darden, Michael and Jennifer Darden, Jody Darden, and Shea Darden; great grandchildren, Julian, Avacyn and Cheyenne; numerous nieces and nephews; and special caregiver and friend, Jeanie Coleman.

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 7 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Tim Webb officiating.  Friends may visit with the family immediately following the service at the funeral home.
