Raymond Alan Boyers, 62, passed away August 30, 2018. He was born in Bethesda, MD, the son of Chester Herschel Boyers and Elizabeth Ann (Lackey) Boyers. He was predeceased by a sister, Julie B. Willey. Raymond was a carpenter.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 17 years, Beatrice Hill Wade; step-sons, Eric and Cary Wade; step-grandchildren, Mia, Della, and Dallas; sister, Susan Stahl (John); brothers, Chet H. Boyers III (Donna), Tommy J. Boyers, and Ronald B. Boyers (Tonya); father-in law, Governor Hill Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held September 5, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, VA 23434 with John Stahl and Mike Crumpler officiating.
