Raymond "Ray" Aubrey Wroten, Jr., 64, passed away January 17, 2021.  Ray was born in Nansemond Co., VA the son of the late Raymond Aubrey Wroten, Sr., and Martha Elizabeth Babb Wroten.  He was predeceased by his wife of 41 years, Sharon Kay Smith Wroten.   Ray retired from R.W. Painting and Roofing.  He was a former member of the Suffolk Moose Lodge.

Ray is survived by his sons, Raymond "R.A." Aubrey Wroten III, Gene Thomas Aaron Wroten (Raven); grandchildren, Haley, Kaelan, Raegan, Raenah and Eliana Wroten, and Kilby White; sisters, Joann W. York (Allen), Debbie W. Moore (Wilbur); brothers, Mike Wroten, David Wroten (Leea); mother-in-law, Jean Baker Macioci; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, VA 23434 with Pastor Mark Wethington officiating with limited gathering and social distancing.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
