Ray Lewis, 87, died on October 16, 2017. He was born to the late Myrtel Cooper and Kimsey Lewis. He is also predeceased by his wife of 53 years, Hilda Karen Smith Lewis. He served in the US Navy during the Korean conflict. He later worked as a meat cutter for Food Fair. He enjoyed NASCAR, catfishing and traveling in his Airstream.

Ray is survived by his children, Patricia Lewis Johnson, Diane Lewis McNeal, Walter Kimsey Lewis (Angela) and Michael Ray Lewis (Teresa); grandchildren, Tommi Lee, Chris D, Karen, Chris S, Dorine, Brittany, Maggie, Dylan, Paley and Spencer; twelve great grandchildren and four sisters.

Ray's funeral service with military honors will be 2p, Sunday, October 22, 2017 in Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Tim Rawls officiating. Visitation will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, donate to the Disabled American Veterans. Post condolences on www.parrfuneralhome.com.
