Ray Willis Baldwin, Jr., 69, passed away February 6, 2022.  He was born in Alexandria, VA the son of the late Ray Willis Baldwin, Sr. and Betty Jane Stevens Baldwin.

He served his country honorably for 22 years all over the world including Japan, Middle East, Europe, the Mediterranean island of Crete, Panama, Langley AFB, Texas and other Air Force bases in the US.  Ray retired as a Master Sergeant from the United States Air Force where he served during Desert Shield and Desert Storm. After his military retirement he returned to the Mediterranean island of Crete where he worked as a civilian at the US Naval Support Base (NSA) of Souda Bay for seven years. He returned to the US in 2004 where he remained till the final years of his life.  He was an honest, dedicated and hardworking father and husband. He had a great sense of humor and during his retired years he loved fishing with his son and spending time with family and friends.

Ray is survived by his wife of 30 years, Eleni Baldwin; son, Christopher James Baldwin; brothers, Steven Baldwin and Robert Baldwin; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life Service with military honors will be held Monday, February 28, 2022 at 3 p.m. at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery with Rev. Michael D. Halley officiating.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
