Mr. Ray L. Baines, 88, of Hobe Sound, FL, died February 25, 2012. He was a native of Suffolk, VA, where he was a farmer and moved to Hobe Sound in August 2007.


Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Margaret T. Baines; daughters, Darlene K. Baines of Hobe Sound and Joy B. Burzynski of Vero Beach; brothers, Aaron Baines of Suffolk, VA and Joe Baines of North Carolina; sisters, Nancy Copeland of Suffolk, VA and Daisy B. Bailey of Texas; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.


A graveside service will be held Friday, March 2, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Holly Lawn Cemetery with Dr. Donald R. Jones officiating.
