Rachel Ann Dotson Winborne, 76, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on December 2, 2023.  She was born in Glenalum, WV to the late Silas and Lilly Alice Dotson. She is also predeceased by her loving husband whom she has missed dearly, John Robert Winborne, her brother, Rabon Lee Dotson, a sister, Mary Lou Dotson Vaughan, and a special niece, Jennifer Lynn Vaughan Clark. Rachel worked for many years at Obici Hospital.  She loved the beach life and there wasn't much better than having her toes in the sand.

Rachel is survived by her sister, Janet Marie Dotson Bryant (Randy), her sweet furbaby who she referred to as her "baby boy", Rudy, and numerous loved ones.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, December 7, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Randy Bryant officiating. Burial will follow at the Winborne Family Cemetery, 6048 Indian Trail, Suffolk, VA 23434. Friends may join the family for a time of visitation one hour prior to the service from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
