Priscilla Grizzard Adams, 77, of Gasburg, VA passed away April 28, 2011. She was born in Boykins, VA the daughter of the late, Pearl Smith Grizzard and Ryland Henry Grizzard, Sr. She was predeceased by her son, C. Cary Adams, Jr.; grandson, Adam Brinkley; and sister, Lois Bivins. Priscilla graduated from Holland High School. She was a member of Holy Neck Christian Church and loved singing in the church choir. She retired as the supervisor of Accounting for Obici Hospital.

Priscilla enjoyed her last ten years at Lake Gaston, VA where she had many friends and family. She always loved the outdoors and boat trips around the lake. She was a very caring person, loved to cook and she spent her entire life doing for her family. She will always be remembered.

Priscilla is survived by the love of her life of 60 years, Cecil C. Adams, Sr.; daughters and sons-in-law, Dianne Brinkley (Hunter), Frances Glover (Morris); daughter-in-law, Delores Adams; grandchildren and their spouses, Kelli Adams, Tiffany Morgan (Jimmy), Christy Glover, Candice Clements, Nancy Glover (Spencer), Morris H. Glover, Jr. (Leslie); great grandchildren, Ondrea and Kendra Glover, Austin and Peyton Clements, Cary and Katie Glover; brothers and sisters-in-law, Henry Grizzard, Jr. and Mary, Terry Grizzard and Bettie; brother-in-law, Charles Bivins; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, May 1, 2011 at 1 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, VA 23434 with Rev. Drew Mountcastle officiating. Burial will follow at Holland Cemetery. Friends may join the family Saturday night from 7-8 p.m. at the funeral home for a time of visitation and other times at the residence in Gasburg, VA.
