Preston Eugene King, age 71, passed away on February 22, 2025. He was the beloved son of the late Lucille King Roberston and Curtis Robertson. Preston was predeceased by his loving wife, Deborah Kellam King, his dear grandmother, Myrtie Mae King, his uncle, Robbie Robertson, and his brothers-in-law, Homer Powell, Bill Balderson, and Larry Kellam. Preston worked as a truck driver for several trucking companies in the Tidewater area.

Preston is survived by his sisters, Pamela Laverne Stewart and her husband, Elmer, and Ginny Balderson; his brother, Brian Robertson and his wife, Jeanette; his sister-in-law, Paula Kellam; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Preston's memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Tommy Reynolds officiating. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Heart Association. Offer condolences on parrfuneralhome.com.
