Polly Jane Worrell, 78, of Suffolk, VA passed away on February 4, 2011. A native of Holland, VA she was the daughter of the late Samuel James Worrell and Mary Jane Holland Worrell. She was also predeceased by a sister, Willie Mae Blythe; and brothers, Elmo Worrell, Clinton C. Worrell, Linwood Worrell, Roy E. Worrell and S. Jimmie Worrell. After 43 years of service she retired as Secretary to the Director of the Tidewater Agricultural Research Division of VPI.

She is survived by her sisters, Lucille Judkins, Nell Williams, Gladys Spivey, Mary Edith Carter and a sister-in-law Inez Story Worrell.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 1 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, VA with Ray Felton officiating.
