Peggy O'Neal Whitehead, 68, of Windsor, VA passed away November 23, 2010. She was born in Suffolk, VA, the daughter of the late Lucille Gardner O'Neal English and Pete Evans O'Neal. She was predeceased by her husband, William "Billy" Whitehead. Peggy retired after 38 years with Sentara Obici Hospital.

Peggy is survived by her brother, Davis Patrick O'Neal and wife Judy of Suffolk; daughter and son-in-law, Kande and Butch Cole of Ivor; son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Kelly Whitehead of Windsor; grandchildren, Kristopher and Katelynn Whitehead, Ryan and Krista Larue Cole; and special friend, Jane Smith of Windsor.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, November 26, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, VA with Rev. Lin Stanworth officiating. A time of visitation will follow the service at the funeral home and other times at the residence of Pat and Judy O'Neal. Inurnment will be at Western Branch Baptist Church Cemetery at a later date.
