Pearl Bryant Jones, 76, of Windsor, VA passed away October 28, 2012. She was born in Southampton County, VA the daughter of the late Blanche Elizabeth Dundalow Wells and Nollie Lee Wells. She was predeceased by her brothers, Clyde M. Wells and Benjamin Wells. She was a member of Living Hope Community Fellowship formerly known as Pine Grove.

Pearl is survived by her husband of 59 years, James "Buddy" Wilson Jones, Sr.; daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah J. and Charles Cummings, Kathy J. and Gary B. Shaffer; son and daughter-in-law, James W. Jones, Jr. "J.W." and Donna N. Jones all of Windsor; grandchildren, Ann Marie, Amy, Casie, Amber, Jessica, Kirk, and Kelsey; great grandchildren, Savanah, Amelia, and Makenna; sisters and brothers-in-law, Alice B. and Sonny Joyner of Carrollton, VA, Ellen W. and Donald Seymour of Chesapeake, VA; and brother and sister-in-law, Daniel L. and Audrey Wells of Smithfield.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, November 1, 2012 at 7p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Kevin Payne and Rev. Tim Webb officiating. A time of visitation will follow after the service at the funeral home. Burial will be private at a later date at Colosse Baptist Church Cemetery.
