Pauline Lockey Umphlett, 80, of Windsor, VA passed away on August 14, 2011. A native of Rowland County, NC she was the daughter of the late Roy Franklin Lockey and Lillie Blackman Lockey. Pauline was also predeceased by her stepson Rusty Umphlett; grandson Will Rickman; sisters Josephine L. Clarey, Lillie B. Lockey; brothers Roy F. Lockey, Jr. and Albert J. Lockey. She retired from General Electric Portsmouth plant as a timekeeper. She was a member of Wilroy Baptist Church.

Pauline is survived by her husband of 36 years Robert L. "Bobby" Umphlett; daughters Paula B. Rose of Suffolk,VA and Dianne B. Rickman of OK; son Thadious F. Boothe of TN; stepdaughter Debbie U. Hampton of Windsor; 4 grandchildren Gene Rose, III, Naomi Hazlett, Leslie Umphlett and Justin Ray Hampton; sister Ann Harrell of Carrsville,VA.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethlehem Christian Church Cemetery, officiated by Rev. John Hunter.
