Paula Irene Wenz, 70, passed away May 18, 2015. She was born in Sioux City, IA to the late Robert Maxon and Mary Walsh Maxon. Paula was a retired store manager with Lillian Vernon. She had an energy and life that is impossible to be contained in a few paragraphs, and those that knew her were very lucky to have the pleasure of her company. She loved all of her children and grandchildren very much, and her endless wit and humor will live on through them all. Though her family and friends will always wish they could have more time with her, she is now without pain and will be greatly missed.

Paula is survived by her significant other William (Bill) York; daughters, Carol York, Theresa Nicholas and Rebecca Deans and son-in-law Jason Carter; grandchildren, Jeff Nicholas, Tyler Nicholas, Chase Garrison, Bryce Moore, Mathew Moore, Carly Deans, Cain Carter and Tara Carter; and brother, Jim Maxon and his wife Lee; And Charlie, her dog. She was predeceased by sisters Michelle Maxon and Julie Shomaker.
