Patricia Elaine Smith, 65, of Suffolk, passed away April 1, 2012. She was born in Savannah, GA to the late James L. and Mary New Stripling. Patricia was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.


Patricia is survived by her husband of 46 years, Edgar Willis Smith, Jr.; daughter, Teresa Lynn Wright; sons, James "Buddy" William Smith, Joseph Rae Smith, and John Randolph Smith; sister, Peggy Baggett; brothers, James Alan Stripling and Michael Rae Stripling.


A graveside service will be held Thursday, April 5, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Nansemond Suffolk Cemetery, 1421 Kings Fork Rd. Suffolk, VA 23434 with Pastor Ben Fulton officiating.
