Patricia Ellen Daniel Cuthriell, 85, passed away August 14, 2021.  She was born in Norfolk, VA the daughter of the late Patrick Booth Daniel and Mattie Williford Daniel.  She was predeceased by her husband, Alvah Lloyd Cuthriell.  Patricia lived in the Deep Creek Community of Chesapeake her entire life until moving to Lake Prince Retirement Community in 2013.  She retired from the banking industry as an assistant manager.  She loved to RV travel with Alvah after his retirement and continued after his death.  Patricia was a lifelong member of Deep Creek Baptist Church.  She loved her dogs, especially Nicky, her companion at Lake Prince.

Patricia is survived by her son, Dan Cuthriell and special friend Margret Holland; daughter, Cyndee Schippell and husband Karl; grandchildren, Jonathan Cuthriell and fiancé Jackie Woods, Rose Schippell, and Andy Schippell; sister, Dot Deal and husband, Tommy; sister-in-law, Barbara Cuthriell Pryor; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, VA 23434 with Rev. Tommy Deal officiating.  Friends may also join the family for a time of visitation one hour prior to the service from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home.  The burial will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens with Rev. Gary Newsome officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lake Prince Woods Benevolent Fund.

The family would like to give thanks to special friends at Lake Prince that supported her during periods of failing health in the past year.
