Patricia Lorraine
Bradley Buck
May 31, 1947 – January 20, 2022
Patricia Lorraine Bradley Buck (74) passed away on January 20, 2022. She was born in Suffolk, VA, on May 31, 1947, to the late Arthur Clayton Bradley and Florence Davidson Bradley. She is survived by her son, Billy Keith Buck (Trinh); grandson, Jackson L. Buck; brother, Shannon C. Bradley (Karen); and sister, Cathy J. Bradley.
Patricia was a graduate of Chuckatuck High School, Newport News Master Gardeners, and the Yorktown's Sheriff's Citizen Academy.
She was the founder and president of the Point Lookout POW Organization for seventeen years, an organization of descendants who raised money to buy the land and erected Confederate Memorial Park in St. Mary's County, Point Lookout, MD. Patricia was a member of Christopher Newport University's Lifelong Learning Society and always enjoyed broadening her knowledge of old and new subjects. Besides painting, one of her favorite past times was walking on the beach and collecting sea glass with her grandson, Jackson. She was also an avid genealogist as well as an animal and environmental activist. She was a firm believer that animals are not to be factory farmed, captured, killed, sold, put on display, or eaten. Patricia enjoyed travel far and near and had a special attraction to the mountains and seashores. Her life motto was "If you can't be on time, be early."
