Otis Thomas Eanes, Jr., 72, of Windsor, VA passed away on September 14, 2013. A native of Fredericksburg, VA and widower of Phyllis White Eanes and son of late Otis Thomas Eanes, Sr. and Jessie Montgomery Eanes. He retired from Quality Engineering at Naval Aviation Depot and also from safety services patrol at VDOT. Otis was a 50 year member of Lake Drummond Masonic Lodge; member of Portsmouth Scottish Rites; life member of Windsor Volunteer Rescue Squad and a member of Windsor Christian Church.
Otis is survived by his daughters, Becky E. Simpson and Debbie Eanes; a son Thomas Alan and wife Anna Eanes ;grandchildren Kayla ,Sean and Phillip Eanes ;sister Mary Abbott and husband John ; companion Rose Mary Beal.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Windsor Christian Church by the Rev. Basil "Buzz" Ballard. Friends may join the family at the residence on Wednesday evening from 7 – 8 p.m. for visitation.
Otis enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He got great comfort from sitting on his deck; feeding and watching his critters; and during peak seasons he was an avid hunter of turkey and deer.
