Otis Lee Baines, 73, passed away January 4, 2019.  He was born in Suffolk, VA the son of the late William Wilbur Baines and Effie Lee Duke Baines.  He was predeceased by his daughter, Gwen Rash; and siblings, Buddy, Mickey, and Virginia Mae.  Otis retired as a quality control inspector from Norfolk Ford Assembly Plant.  He was a member of Cypress Chapel Christian Church and the New Hope Bible Class.

Otis is survived by his wife of 31 years, Frances B. Baines; sons, Keith D. Baines (Susan), Christopher D. Baines (Stefanie); daughter, Paula G. Darden (Karl); grandchildren, Emily (Tyler), Amanda, Aaron (Ashley), Kendall, Parker (Cody), Morgan, Mason, and Hudson; 12 great grandchildren; sister, Margie Neill; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Cypress Chapel Christian Church with Rev. Alan Cruz and Rev. Matthew Johnson officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Friends may join the family for a visitation on Monday night from 7-8 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory.  Memorial donations may be made to the church.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
