Othella Gay Hayner Collins, 67, of Virginia Beach, passed away January 30, 2012. Born in Charleston, WV she was the daughter of the late Della Pack Hayner and Rector Mall Hayner. Othella is also predeceased by her husband of 35 years, Philip R. Collins. She loved to cook and to spend time with her family.


Othella is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Melissa "Missy" D. Tilton and Eric Tilton of Suffolk, VA; son and daughter-in-law, Philip R. and Penny Collins of Mission Viejo, CA; grandchildren, Justin Craig Tilton, Jakob Kane Tilton, and Matthew Shane Collins.


A funeral service will be held Friday, February 3, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr. Suffolk, VA 23434 with Rev. Tommy Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow at 1 p.m. at Princess Anne Memorial Park, 1110 N Great Neck Rd., Virginia Beach, VA 23454.
