Ossie "Johnny" Lee Duvall, Jr., 91, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 28, 2026.  He was born in Suffolk, VA the son of the late Ossie L. Duval, Sr. and Daisy Elizabeth Parker Duval.  He was also predeceased by his sister, Peggy Boyd.  Johnny was a United States Army veteran.  He later went on to work for Lipton Tea Company and then retired as a Class A Mechanic. At Lipton he was a member of the Ambassador's Club.  Johnny was a member of First Baptist Church and the Business Men's Sunday School Class.  At First Baptist he served as a deacon and loved singing in the choir.

Johnny is survived by his wife of 66 years, Becky Duvall; daughter, Candy Nickert (Joe); grandchildren, Noah Lee Nickert (Elizabeth) and Luke William Nickert (Alexandra); great grandchild, Brinkley Ann Nickert; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Thurman Hayes and Rev. Dr. David Edgell officiating.  Friends may also join the family for a time of visitation one hour prior to the service from 1-2 p.m. at the church.  Burial will be held at a later date at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, 237 N.
