Nannie Mae Pond Edwards' Obituary
Nannie Mae Pond Edwards, 84, passed away on December 20, 2015. Born in Isle of Wight Co., VA, she was the daughter of the late John Allen Pond and Katie Wise. She is predeceased by her husband, Clarence Edwards and daughter, Shirley E. Moore.
Nannie was a loving homemaker and member of Bethany United Methodist Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Mary Lou Shelton (Carley); granddaughters, Courtney Amaral and Krystal Smith; sisters, Susie Lowry and Rosalee Baker; and brother, John Pond.
Her graveside service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, December 23, at St. Luke's Memorial Park in Smithfield, VA with Rev. Michael Frank officiating. The visitation will be from 6-7 pm on Tuesday, December 22 at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Isle of Wight Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 97, Smithfield, VA 23431.
