Nancy Lucille Carr Harcum, 78, passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2022. She was born in Suffolk, VA to the late Edna Lucille Carr and John Puttman Carr. She is also predeceased by her husband of 36 years, George Edward Harcum and brother, J. Nelson Carr. She worked at Sentara Obici Hospital in accounting and formerly served in the Nansemond-Suffolk Volunteer Rescue Squad Auxiliary and Holland Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary. She was also a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.

Nancy is survived by her daughter, Denise H. Brown (Josh); son, Barry D. Harcum (Lori); grandchildren, Ben E. Harcum, Devin S. Walters (Tori Abel), Logan E. Walters, Jared C. Walters, and Joshua Brown; great grandchildren, Foster and Pierce Brown; sister in law, Debra "Sissy" Carr; brother in law, Jesse Harcum; and numerous special nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Nancy's graveside service will be 2:00 pm, Friday, March 4, 2022 at Colosse Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Ricky Garza officiating. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Hillcrest Baptist Church.
