Myron C. "Chuck" Tanner, 85, passed away peacefully at home on August 13, 2025 in Suffolk, VA. Chuck was a hard working man who built his career as a Contract Specialist for the Department of Defense for over 50 years. He also served in the U.S. Air Force. After retiring, Chuck fulfilled his dream by living on his boat, Kindred Spirits, at a marina in Bradenton, FL with his dogs. He was also known for his quick wit with a dose of sarcasm, and always greeting you with a fist bump. Chuck was very charismatic and loved to be in the presence of beautiful ladies.

Chuck is survived by his children and their families, Clark Tanner and wife, Donna of Virginia Beach; April Host and husband, David of Suffolk; Laurel Frink and husband, Jay of Mt. Pleasant, SC; three grandchildren; and his beloved pet, Jessie.
