Muhammad Y. "Sekou" Abdur-Raheem, 40, passed away April 17, 2017. He was born in Brooklyn, NY the son of Aiyana Alfaruk Blackhawk and the late Yahya Abdur-Raheem. Sekou was a Foreman with Lucas Tree Service.

Sekou is survived by his mother, Aiyana Blackhawk; second mother, Gail Lee; grandmother, Dorothy Watkins; sister, Mahdiyya; brothers, Muji, Husain, Misbah, Ibrahim and Brandon; girlfriend of 22 years, Nicole; two nephews, Dylan, Cassius; and two nieces, D'Nasia and Camdyn.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, April 23, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Tuwanna Anderson officiating. Burial will be held at a later date in Boston, MA.
