Minnie Lee Robertson, 88, of Suffolk, VA passed away on May 29, 2008. A native of Chowan County, NC she was the daughter of the late John L. Lassiter and Jenny Hollowell Lassiter. She was also predeceased by her husbands, Edward L. Baines and Reginald Robertson. Minnie was a homemaker, a member of Cypress Chapel Christian Church and the Nettie Harrell Ladies Sunday School Class.

She is survived by her daughter Elsie B. Brinkley, of Suffolk; a granddaughter, Nancy B. Savage; a great granddaughter, Kelly A. Savage, both of Virginia Beach, Virginia; a brother, James A. Lassiter of Florence, SC. and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2008 at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, with the Rev. John Wolfe and the Rev. Michael D. Halley officiating. Burial will follow at Cypress Chapel Christian Church Cemetery. Friends may join the family at the funeral home on Saturday from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. for visitation.
