Mildred Outlaw Wright, 84, passed away March 18, 2014. She was born in Nansemond County, VA the daughter of the late Herman and Bessie Outlaw. She was predeceased by her son, James R. Wright. She formerly worked at Obici Hospital as an EKG Technician. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church.

Mildred is survived by her husband of 63 years, Alton Lilly Wright; son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Laura Wright; grandchildren and spouses, Keith Wright (Melanie), Mike Wright (Emily), Patricia Davis (David); grandchildren, Ethan and Jeremy Wright, Ashley and Aaron Wright, Orlando and Tate Davis; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Friday, March 21, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Stewart McCarter officiating. Burial will follow at Holland Cemetery.
