Mildred Blythe Lynn, 86, of Smithfield, VA passed away December 13, 2010. She was born in Southampton County, VA the daughter of the late Ethel Womble Blythe and Collin Richard Blythe. She was predeceased by her husband, Lewis William Lynn and a daughter, Debbie Lynn. She was a member of New Vision Worship Center.

Mildred is survived by her children, Brenda Wright and husband, George, Lewis Richard "Tom" Lynn and wife, Pat; Ann Long all of Suffolk, VA, Patricia Jones and husband, Eugene of Ivor, VA; Connie L. Bryant and deceased husband, Jimmy of Windsor, VA; Donna Steeley and husband, Jack of Chesapeake, VA; brothers Carlton "Jigs" and Rudolph "Doodle" Blythe; 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, December 16, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with Rev. Dennis Hughes officiating. Friends may join the family Wednesda y night from 6-8 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory and other times at the residence of the granddaughter, Connie and Tim Daughtrey.
