Mildred Eugene Halstead Doane, 96, passed away on June 21, 2024. She was born in Norfolk, Virginia to the late Lillie Mae Wallace and Arthur Halstead Sr. She is also predeceased by her husband of over 50 years, Luther Doane. She is survived by her daughter, Dale Doane Cross (Peter); son, Rick Doane (Sheila); grandchildren, Luke Cross (Katy), Tony Cross (Liz), and Stargel Doane (Ashley); great grandchildren, Matthew Cross and Kailyn Doane; and numerous nieces and nephews. Her burial will be held at Rosewood Memorial Park, Virginia Beach, Virginia.
