Michael "Tony" Anthony Mazzone, II, 35, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on June 13, 2016. He was born in Portsmouth, VA the son of Michael Anthony Mazzone and Elizabeth "Becky" Lee Landin. He worked as an electrician for over 15 years.

Tony is survived by his wife, Christie M. Mazzone; sons, Chase, Kyler, Daniel, and Will Mazzone (Keely Rice Mazzone); grandchild, Brylie Grace Mazzone; parents, Michael Anthony Mazzone and wife, Linda, Elizabeth "Becky" Lee Landin and husband, Chuck; sisters, Robyn Mazzone and Sarah Mazzone; step brother, Edward Hay and wife, Donna; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Christopher and Stephanie Carpenter; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Danny and Cindy Strickland; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A funeral service will be held Friday, June 17, 2016 at 11a.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Matt Winters officiating. Burial will follow at Western Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may join the family for a time of visitation Thursday night from 7-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Suffolk Fire and Rescue.
