Michael Smith Norfleet, Sr., 57, passed away October 14, 2018.  He was born in Suffolk, VA the son of the late Lloyd H. Norfleet and Blanche Ellis Norfleet.

Michael is survived by his wife of 30 years, Robin Beale Norfleet; daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Allen Moore; sons, Michael Norfleet, Jr. and Elton Nielsen; grandchildren, Kala, Elizabeth, Hannah, AJ, and Susan; sisters and brother-in-law, Patricia and Buck Byrum, Barbara Smith, and Frances Walker; brothers, Peanut and Happy Smith; numerous nieces and nephews; and best friend, Roy Daisey, beloved dog, Missy.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, October 18, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory.  Burial will follow at Holly Lawn Cemetery.  Friends may join the family for a time of visitation Wednesday night from 7-8 p.m. at the funeral home.  Memorial donations may be made to the ALS Association.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
