Merle William Modispaw, 73, passed away December 24, 2016. He was born in Meyersdale, PA to Marie Modispaw Kemp. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during Vietnam and later worked and retired from Verizon in telecommunication as a System Tech M Team Leader. He was also a lifetime member of the NRA.

Merle is survived by sons and daughters in law, Floyd G. and Heather Ann Modispaw and Charles M. and Bridgett Ann Modispaw; grandchildren, Dalton T. Davis, Michael William Modispaw, Kylie Rose Modispaw and Lacie Elizabeth Modispaw; and three great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, December 31, 2016 at 2:00 p.m.in M.Ray Leckemby FuneralHome,P.C. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Meyersdale, PA. Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Condolences may be registered at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
