Melvin "Mel" Lee Roberson Jr., 65, passed away on March 13, 2026 with his loved ones by his side. He was born to the late Melvin Lee Roberson Sr. and Anna Faye Wilson Roberson. He was also predeceased by his first wife, Patricia; son, Joshua; bonus daughter, Jessica; and bonus granddaughter, Nevaeh. He owned and operated his own truck and drove for many different companies throughout his life. Mel loved the open road and drove all over the United States, and had stories to tell about every place he went. He loved to fish with his son, daughter, and grandchildren. Mel loved his family and never met a stranger. He will be sadly missed by everyone.

Mel is survived by his loving wife, Judith Gay Roberson; daughter, Mindy Belair (Mike); sons, Derrick Roberson (Kimberly) and Alan Deziel (Amber); grandchildren, Tyler (Makayla), Logan, Skylar, Aaron, Zephan, Alexis (Jordan), Kayleigh, Toby, Peyton, and Noah; and great grandson, Oliver.
