Mellie Virginia Wells, 88, passed away August 31, 2022.  She was born in Williamsburg, VA the daughter of the late John Elmer Wells and Nevada Reno Sparrow Wells.  She was predeceased by her sister, Jentie Brewer Wells Boswell.  She worked as a caregiver for numerous years.

Mellie is survived by her longtime friend, Carolyn Griffin.

Burial will be private at Holly Lawn Cemetery.
