Megan Lea Jardell, 25, of Suffolk, was called to the Lord on the morning of November 23, 2015 as a result of an infection of the heart. She was born on November 6, 1990 in Jacksonville, Florida. She moved with her family to Suffolk, VA in 2002 and graduated from Lakeland High School in 2010. Megan was a free spirit with a smile that could light up a room. She loved her family and Disney movies. She was a great aunt, daughter, sister, and friend. Her sense of humor will be missed by all of those she has left behind.

Megan is survived by her parents Angie and Gilbert Dever, and Steven and Delilah Jardell, her siblings Alyssa, Kyle, Joshua, Gilbert, Caeley, Ariel, Savannah, Rhett, and her sisters of the heart, Sadie and CeCe. She also leaves her grandparents Lynda and Lionel Jardell, Kevin and Beverly Childs, James and Linda Arnold, nephew Rylee, niece Alora, and numerous loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Megan was preceded in death by grandparents, Delores and Gilbert Dever.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Parr Funeral Home in Suffolk, VA. Visitation will be from seven pm to eight pm on Friday, November 27th at Parr Funeral Home. The funeral will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, November 28th at two pm with the interment immediately following at Holly Lawn Cemetery.
