Mearl Ann Harris Brown, 83, of Suffolk, VA passed away February 1, 2016. She was born in Isle of Wight County, VA to the late Joe Henry Harris, Sr. and Mary Maggie Wells Harris. She is also predeceased by her husband, Arthur Lewis Brown and son, David Brown.

Mearl is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Florence and Kevin Yost; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Sharon Brown, John and Lee Ann Brown, Gary Brown, and Charles Brown and Angie Hicks; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and sister, Eulalah Evans.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, February 4, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, VA 23434 with Pastor Tony Peaks officiating.
