Maxine Terwilliger May, 92, of Smithfield, VA went to be with the Lord January 17, 2014. She was born in Sturkie, AR to the late Mary Lula Haynes Jackson and Albert Jackson. She was also predeceased by her beloved grandson, Dustin Phillip Terwilliger. She lived in Ladue and Clayton, MO for 70 years and moved to Smithfield, VA to be with family in May 2013. She was a retired Realtor, successful investor and devoted mother of 3 cherished sons.

Maxine is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Gary A. and Gayle Terwilliger, Robert D. and Charlotte Terwilliger, and Ronald Gene Terwilliger; grandsons, Martin Wall Terwilliger, Ronald Gene Terwilliger, II, and Randy Albert Terwilliger; great grandchildren, Brynlee, Alexis and Mackenzie; sister, Carolyn Jackson Wood; and twin sister, Pauline Jackson Dreyfus.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Historic St. Luke's Church with Rev. Jeff Cannon officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
