Maureen Elizabeth Brown (née Dupras), 72, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2023, surrounded by family.

Maureen was born in Fall River, Massachusetts, to George and Doris Dupras and had 5 brothers and sisters, all of whom predeceased her.

Maureen was employed as a bus driver for the Virginia Beach school system for over 20 years. Her heart was so big that she drove a special education bus and really loved taking care of 'her kids.' She went as far as to make sure she had treats for 'her kid's' dogs on her bus route. She was an animal lover, most recently her kitty Capone.

She leaves to cherish her memory, son Jason Gignac and wife, Allison Dailey, daughter Ashton Brown and fiancé, Dylan Blackshear, her only grandchild Alex, and BFF Pat Hankins, and treasured family and friends.

Private services will occur in her home state of Massachusetts at a later date.
