Mary Louise Spruill Thompson, 78, of Suffolk, VA passed away June 19, 2008. She was born in Williamston, NC the daughter of the late Beulah and Benjamin McKeel. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church.

Louise is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Sylvia L. and Glenn E. Avery of Chicopee, MA, Wendy L. and Michael Scott, Sr. of Franklin, VA; grandchildren, Glenn Jr., Jon, Scott, Lisa, Kyle, Michael, Amber, and Ryan; 9 great grandchildren; sister, Doris Wilkins of Suffolk, VA; numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Monday, June 23, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, VA with Rev. James Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Lawn Cemetery. Friends may join the family Sunday afternoon at the funeral home from 2-4 p.m. and other times at the residence of Doris Wilkins, 301 Lida Ave., Suffolk, VA.
