Mary Bradshaw Joyner, 89, passed away April 24, 2013. She was born in Isle of Wight County the daughter of the late Todie and Lizzie Bradshaw. She was predeceased by her husbands, Willie Odey, Braxton Leggett, and Charlie Joyner; daughter, Peggy Vann; son, Thomas Leggett and great grandson, Joseph Edwards. Mary retired from Planters Peanut Company. She was a member of the Salvation Army and formerly attended the Adult Sunday School Class. She loved to make flowers and was know by many people as the "Flower Lady."
Mary is survived by her daughters, Mary Goodwin, Frances Edwards, Mildred Cisco, and Debbie Greene; beloved baby girl, Tyesha; son, Andy Leggett; 17 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Monday, April 29, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Holly Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Tim Rawls officiating. Friends may join the family for a time of visitation, Sunday from 3-4 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory.
