Mary Carolyn Holland Hopkins, 79, passed away April 7, 2024.  She was born in Virginia the daughter of the late Lawrence Elmo and Alma Marie Rhodes Holland.  Mary is predeceased by her great granddaughter, Lazja Powers; 1 sister and 5 brothers.  She was a member of Colosse Baptist Church and a past member of the Suffolk Moose Lodge.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Teresa Francis (Mac), Kimberly Powers; son, Tony Spivey (Patricia); grandchildren, Wayne, Kendra, Justin, Sheyenne; 4 great grandchildren; sisters; Ann Edwards (Steve), Jean Gay; brothers, William Holland (Dyann), Glenn Holland, David Holland; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, VA 23434 with Pastor Tim Webb giving a message of comfort at 3 p.m.  Visitation will continue to follow afterward.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
