Mary Elizabeth Bunch Gardner, 80, passed away on July 19, 2024. She was born in Chowan Co, NC to the late Lucy Dail and James Elliott Bunch. She is also predeceased by her loving husband of 44 years, Horace David Gardner; sisters, Mildred Farless and Rubie McClenney; and brother, Wilbur Bunch. Mary attended Cypress Chapel Christian Church.

Mary is survived by her children, Priscilla G. Bunch (Eric) and James David Gardner; grandchildren, Emma G. Debien (Eric) and Tyler D. Bunch (Caitlyn); great grandchildren, Camille and Ryder.

The family would like to express a special thanks to her caregivers, Darlene, Sherry, Evy, and Cindy.

Mary's funeral service will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Larry Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Spring Christian Church. Visitation will be on Monday, from 7-8:00 pm, at the funeral home.
