Mary "Jelly Bean" Frances Farrenkopf Hite Luter, 83, passed away December 23, 2020.  She was born July 2, 1937 in Suffolk, VA the daughter of the late Albert Willard Farrenkopf, Sr. and Lucy Viola Askew Farrenkopf.  She was predeceased by her husband, Roscoe Wallace Luter; and her son, Paul E. Hite, Jr.  Mary retired from Obici Hospital as an Operating Room Technician.  She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Mary is survived by her children and their spouses, Sherie Mitchell (Gary), Ladena Spruill (Chris), Paula Gurniak (John), Charles A. Hite (Nancy), and Rhonda Van De Wal (Steve); 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Linda F. Tomlin, Gloria F. Salmon (James "Pete"); brother, Albert W. Farrenkopf, Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
